MWSF took Jeremiah Workman on a dream trip to the back country of the Colorado mountains recently. Jeremiah enjoyed a well deserved week of R&R as he prepares to launch his just released book, Shadow of the Sword: A Marine's Journey of War, Heroism, and Redemption (Random House).. JW is seen here with a huge Elk he shoot under the mentorship of Lt Gen Sisco, USA (Ret). He reported after the trip "this was the time of a lifetime and great timing with all the stress I have been under". JW also stars in a new tribute song and video When They Come Back," a powerful and evocative tribute to America's returning combat veterans. Co-written with hit songwriter Tim Johnson, "When They Come Back" addresses a generation's struggle to readjust to life here at home after facing death and trauma
overseas.
