The evening of February 24th is slated to be a special evening of entertainment for wounded warriors and their families. On this night, our first home is scheduled to be donated to a wounded warrior and their family. Warriors from the Navy Seals in Coronado and Camp Pendleton bases will be in attendance with us to celebrate on the deck of the historic Midway aircraft carrier and have a special dinner and concert by the Derek Scholl Band. Given all the troops have been through, Derek’s new release, “When They Come Back”, is sure to be an emotional highlight of the evening. Jeremiah Workman, Navy Cross recipient, will also be in attendance signing copies of his book, Shadow of the Sword: A Marine's Journey of War, Heroism, and Redemption (Random House). The concert will be preceded by a day of relaxing golf with the warriors and dinner guests. Please check back to see pictures and article on the event.
