How It All Began - As part of our overall plan we will sponsor hunts for the Warriors and provide "getaway" opportunities for these “Heroes”. A gentleman by the name of Terry Johnson in Midland, Texas decided he wanted to say thank you to some of our “Wounded Warriors”. It was such a successful way to say thank you we decided, with Terry’s permission, to continue this noble effort all over Texas so the “Military Warriors Support Foundation” was formed. We have chosen to have our events in San Antonio, Houston and Ft. Worth. With the help of many caring and patriotic people who just want to say thank you we will be able to help more and more of these true “Heroes” and their families. Our goal is not to just have the getaway weekends but also to continue to raise more funds and that will enable us to do even more. The four main goals are scholarships, job retraining, job placement and when they have unexpected financial needs funds will be made available. We want to thank Terry Johnson for having the love, care and appreciation to honor these “Heroes”. His son is currently serving in Iraq. God bless him.
