“The hospitality from stepping off the plane to now, they made us feel right at home,” said Klimtzak. “It was a phenomenal round of golf and the whole thing was overwhelming.”

Klimtzak’s three years of Family and Financial Mentorship was sponsored by the Colorado PGA Reach, and Eddie Ainsworth, the Executive Director and CEO of the Colorado Section of the PGA of America. Eddie has sponsored the mentorship of 5 other veterans as well. Klimtzak had his club fitting with the Top Fitter in the Country for Callaway Golf, Colorado PGA Professional Brian Gott. It included having his swing analyzed and checking to see what adjustments he would need to make. He was given a completely custom-fitted set of Callaway golf clubs from his sponsor as part of the event, as well as FootJoy shoes and Callaway TruVis golf balls. The next day he participated in the tournament where he came in 2nd place. He also said he was happy to bring his mother as it was her first time visiting Colorado. Klimtzak said he enjoyed every minute of it and was thankful for the tournament experience.

“I just wanted to say thank you to all the men and women from the Colorado PGA and Wells Fargo for a life-changing opportunity with their donation of my beautiful home,” said Klimtzak. “I had the honor and privilege of getting fitted for new clubs from Callaway, meeting Brian Gott; one of the most knowledgable PGA pro’s, and Eddie Ainsworth, and none of this would have been possible if not for everyone at MWSF and all they do for the hero’s of this beautiful country.”
