Citizens Bank Donates $50,000 to Military Warriors Support Foundation

We can’t thank Citizens Bank enough for their ongoing support of our programs. Through our partnership, they have donated 5 homes to our Homes4WoundedHeroes program and continue to support the awarded families far beyond the home donation. Citizens Bank has also furnished and refurbished homes for these families and even surprised them during the holiday season with shopping sprees!

 

This week, Citizens Bank in partnership with FISERV donated $50,000 towards Military Warriors Support Foundation in order to continue their support of combat wounded heroes and Gold Star families! With amazing partnerships and generous donations like these, we can continue to serve families across the nation! Thank you Citizens Bank!

Army Veteran Awarded Mortgage-Free Home!

Retired U.S. Army Private First Class Michael Lowe received the keys to his beautiful mortgage-free home in Aldan, Pennsylvania!

We awarded the home through our Homes4WoundedHeroes program thanks to the generous donation by Citizens Bank.

Lowe served in the Army from 2003-2006. He served for a year in Korea and was deployed to Iraq. During this deployment, Lowe was injured during a combat situation and received the Purple Heart.

Serving our Nation’s Heroes with Wells Fargo

At the Wells Fargo Championship we worked with Wells Fargo to change the lives of our combat wounded veterans!

 

Retired US Army Staff Sergeant and Purple Heart recipient Bobby Henline was honored for his service and sacrifice, by being awarded a mortgage-free home located in Sanford, NC. The home was donated to Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Homes4WoundedHeroes program by Wells Fargo. In addition to the home, we will provide him with 3 years of family and financial mentorship.

 

 

 

Former U.S. Marine Corps Corporal & Purple Heart recipient Kyle Johnson was honored for his service and sacrifice, and was presented with a brand new, payment-free vehicle generously donated by Wells Fargo. In addition to the vehicle, we will provide him with 1 year of family and financial mentorship.

 

 

At the Wells Fargo Championship we also had the honor to present the deed of a mortgage-free home to the Navy Seal Foundation. The home will be used in the Navy Seal Foundation’s mission to support the Naval Special Warfare force and their families during times of illness, injury, loss and transition.

We joined forces with George Strait to Honor our nation’s heroes!

An incredible event took place for two of our nation’s combat wounded heroes, when they joined George Strait on his stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Our CEO, Retired Lt General Leroy Sisco was there to present these two heroes with the key to their mortgage-free homes, generously donated by Wells Fargo to the Military Warriors Support Foundation through our Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

On February 2, we honored Wounded Hero Christopher Hardesty for his service and sacrifice to this country. He served our great nation as a 19D or Cavalry Scout, He was wounded in combat while supporting combat operations and is the recipient of the Purple Heart. We are proud to join George Strait and Wells Fargo in welcoming him home to Colorado.

On February 3, we honored Wounded Hero Andrew Butterworth for his service and sacrifice to this country. He served our nation as 11B or Infantryman, he was wounded in combat while supporting combat operations and is the recipient of the Purple Heart. Additionally, he received the Army Commendation Medal with ‘V’ Device for Valor in supporting ground combat operations against enemy forces. We are proud to join George Strait and Wells Fargo in welcoming him home to Missouri.

Mortgage-Free Home Presented at Lee Brice concert!

Walmart, Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Military Warriors Support Foundation honored Retired US Marine Corps Corporal James “Tucker” Faddis during the Lee Brice concert at the Carson Center – Paducah, KY on January 26, 2018. Cpl. Faddis, was presented with a ceremonial key to his brand new, mortgage-free home at the concert.

 

 

Tucker served our nation with honor and distinction, as an Infantry Machine Gunner and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2011, Tucker’s unit was on patrol when they came under fire. Corporal Faddis is the recipient of the Purple Heart, a medal awarded to those who are physically wounded by enemy fire, during a combat operation.

During the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game, David was presented with his key to his move-in ready, mortgage-free home in Pittsburgh, PA. The home, donated by PNC Bank to the Military Warriors Support Foundation, was given to David Marino through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

With our friends at PNC Bank, we are proud to honor U.S. Army veteran, and Purple Heart recipient, James Davis with keys to a mortgage-free home located in McDonough, GA. The home, donated by PNC Bank to the Military Warriors Support Foundation was given to James Davis through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

 

While deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, retired U.S. Army Sergeant James Davis fought valiantly for his country. Like fellow combat-wounded veterans, this Fayetteville, NC veteran, was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained while performing combat operations.

 

PNC Bank – in partnership with Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) – has donated a home in McDonough, GA to Sgt. Davis and his family in recognition of his service to our nation. Mr. Davis was stationed in North Carolina, Texas and served two combat deployments to Iraq. During his 22 year military service, Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Air Force, North Carolina Army National Guard and the U.S. Army.

 

During his service with the U.S. Army, the married father of five was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Acheivement Medal (2nd award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal w/Campaign Star, Combat Action Badge and many others.

We were joined by Wells Fargo for an exciting day out at the TPC Sawgrass THE PLAYERS Championship where together we presented a move-in ready, mortgage-free home to Retired U.S. Army Sergeant Thomas Allen. The home, donated by Wells Fargo to the Military Warriors Support Foundation was given through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

Army Ranger Awarded Mortgage-Free Home!

Jeremy Dolan and his wife had their lives changed in a special way when they were presented with the keys to their move-in ready, mortgage-free home in North Haverhill, NH. The home, donated by Wells Fargo to Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF), was given to Jeremy Dolan through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

 

Retired U.S. Army Specialist Jeremy Dolan served as an Infantryman (11B) in 2nd Battalion of The 75th Ranger Regiment. It was while on deployment with 2/75 Rangers he was injured during an airborne jump, effectively ending his military career. He was awarded numerous citations and awards for his honorable military service.
