Welcome Home SSG Feltz
Last Saturday, with the generous donation by SunTrust, and awarded by the Military Warriors Support Foundation we welcomed U.S. Army SSG, (Ret.) Scott Feltz into his mortgage-free home in Mechanicsville, Virginia. SSG Feltz served as an Infantryman (11B) for eight and a half years and was deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and an Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. During his deployment of Operation Enduring Freedom he received the Purple Heart for being wounded while performing combat operations. SSG Feltz aspires to one-day train service dogs to help other wounded warriors in their recovery. “Together We Can Accomplish What We Can Only Individually Dream.” - Executive Director, Ken Eakes. This statement comes to life every time we partner together with others to change the lives of our veterans, one home at a time. Welcome Home SSG Feltz!
