Our Special Operations Transition Home

Even outside times of conventional war, our nation’s Special Operations units are constantly executing missions around the world. These units are the tip of the spear and are involved in various types of missions ranging from combat and counterterrorism operations to hostage rescue and humanitarian aid. With the support of Wells Fargo and Aligned Mortgage of Texas we have embarked on a path to support this very deserving community and their families.[embed]https://youtu.be/x0zGKOIJ1AA[/embed]Our Special Operations Transition Home is a place that active-duty special operators and their families can call home during acute situations. It will allow for an entire family to be nearby to support a service member while they are recovering from injuries or undergoing therapy. It will serve as a place of solace for a family in the event a service member is killed. For these times, and others, this home will serve as temporary housing for a community that has given more to us than we may ever know.Our Executive Director, Ken Eakes said it best, “If we can provide that place of rest for families that come through here, and they find peace when they walk through the door, that’s what we’re trying to accomplish here.”
