Skills4Life hosted a Fish4Life event on Lake Erie with Walleyes for Wounded Heroes

On June 15-19th our Skills4Life team was in Port Clinton, Ohio on Lake Erie at our Fish4Life event.    This was a 5-day fishing event in collaboration with Walleyes for Wounded Heroes.Walleyes for Wounded Heroes, Inc., (W4WH) provides opportunities for our nation’s current or former military, sworn Law Enforcement Officers, sworn Firefighters, and sworn or affirmed Emergency Medical Responders, all of whom have been injured from combat operations or line-of-duty service to fish and reconnect with nature. Charter captains and private boat owners take our Wounded Heroes walleye fishing in June each year at no charge. W4WH provides lodging, meals, entertainment, and transportation around Port Clinton Ohio and nearby areas.[gallery link="file" size="medium" ids="11314,11313,11312,11311,11306,11304,11302,11300,11299,11298,11297,11296,11315,11305,11301"]Military Warriors Support Foundation's Skills4Life program provides fellowship through recreational outings. Our goal is providing these deserving veterans opportunities to bond with each other and develop relationships with our mentors through outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, and family outings.  Fish4Life events provide a terrific opportunity for veterans at all skill levels and physical abilities to enjoy a day on the water fishing. Skills4Life hosts regular local fishing opportunities as well as several offshore and regional fishing adventures.
