Combat-Wounded Veteran Receives Payment-Free Vehicle at the Minnesota State Fair from Military Warriors Support Foundation, Wells Fargo, Apple Autos
Daniel Cahill, a Purple Heart recipient & former U.S. Army Specialist was presented a payment-free vehicle by our Transportation4Heroes program, in collaboration with Wells Fargo and Apple Autos at the Minnesota State Fair.[gallery link="file" size="large" ids="11556,11550,11557"]Daniel Cahill is a native of Minnesota and joined the United States Army in 2007 as part of the 309th Engineering Company in Brainerd, MN. Cahill was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 and during his deployment he was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in May 2019. Cahill currently resides in Andover, Minn. with his family.
He was chosen to receive this life-changing gift after applying to our Transportation4Heroes program. The application has a rigorous vetting process to ensure that the veteran chosen to receive a vehicle is the best recipient to participate in the program. We work with the veteran to ensure that the gift of a payment-free vehicle assists them in their successful transition out of the military and into their new civilian life.
